Lynda Hansen - Executive Director
Heartland Christian Homeschool Center was conceived in the heart of Lynda Hansen, who knew many parents desiring to home school their children. Involved in Christian education for six years and having home-schooled five children for three years before starting Heartland, Lynda was well-acquainted with the obstacles encountered in home schooling. She knew others needed help getting started and continuing. Having faith that parents possess the God-given abilities to train their own children, Lynda set out to remove these obstacles and open the door for parents to be successful at home schooling.
Josh Harper - Principal
Josh Harper has been the High School Department Head for multiple years in addition to teaching the Sciences, Social Studies, Multi-media, Spanish, Christian Leadership, Guitar and Worship. He is also stepping into the Assistant Principal position.
Experience: Josh has earned an AA in Liberal Arts, a BA in Organizational Studies and an MA in Religious Studies. Josh was the lead singer for "Cedar" for ten years; worship leader for youth conferences, camps, and out-reaches. He and Tiffany, his wife having homeschooled their children through Heartland having graduated one with two more almost there. He is respected and appreciated by all.
Jonna Larson - Front Office
Jonna with her inviting personality is a blessing to our front office. If you have a question, she is always ready to help. Jonna has contributed to Heartland for the last 15+ years. She has four children all of which are or have been involved with Heartland since PreK as students. She was a monitor and volunteer over the years in multiple classes before becoming the receptionist/clerk. We are not only fortunate to have her expertise, but she is the face and heart of Heartland.
Miriam Tran - Registrar/Bookkeeper
Miriam has one daughter who is currently attending Heartland. She has a varied work background from Social Work and marketing, to office management. Her time here has included monitoring in the classroom and working on the yearbook. Currently she is a valuable asset in the office Registrar and Bookkeeper.
