Student Required Supplies
This is a list of supplies that are needed in addition to the books.
Please put the student's name on all supplies whenever possible.
Kindergarten / First / Second
1. Pencil Box for school

4. Scissors (rounded point optional)
5. Box of 8 Crayons - Basic Colors

7. Spiral notebook
8. 12" ruler
9. Two boxes of tissues (one each semester)
10. Heartland t-shirt (Required for field trips to help teachers supervise students.) May be purchased at HCHC. Kindergarten only!

Jr. High and High School
Includes everything for 3rd - 6th plus the following:

3. Calculator. Please check with your student’s Supervisor before allowing your student to use a calculator.
4. Flashdrive for reports.
Calculators allowed in Kindergarten through 8th grade by specific permission only. We do not recommend the use of calculators before the student has mastered his or her basic facts. A math competency test must be completed monthly to retain use of the calculator.
*(The school reserves the right to examine the contents of the backpacks at any time. The backpacks are only for the things that the student will need while at school for his or her schoolwork. If a Supervisor or one of HCHC staff asks to see the contents of a student's backpack, the student must comply immediately. Refusal will mean that the parent must come and resolve any problems before the student can return to class.)
Missing items will be supplied in class at your expense.
